This was the first video we have done expressing how we feel about Inchicore and how we want to feel. It is currently at at 22.6K views. We weren't expecting the publicity we got and we are so grateful.
We surveyed the community regarding the safety and the condition of Inchicore and here where the answers. The response confirmed our concerns for Inchicore.






We visited Leinster House and talked to Cather Ardagh about our hopes for Inchicore. She invited us into the Seanad Éireann and presented our campaign and ideas to her fellow senators.




Due to the success we got for the first video we made, we decided to make a second video but this time including the people in the community.




We got the opportunity to work with Jaque and Sam who helped us with some self-defence which made us feel safer in our area.


One of our classmates got to be part of the Inchicore Regeneration Consultative Forum where youth voice can be heard and counted.
We presented our campaign to the local primary school where we also got to teach them the self-defence moves we learnt from Jaque.

The Sun featured us in their newspaper and website and we got to express what we think about it our area.
We also got featured in RTÉ News where our project got spoken out. It was such an amazing experience both with The Sun and RTÉ News.

To make Inchicore look better we decided to have a mural made as well as an electric box painted. The mural will be in St.Pats grounds and the electric box is on Emmet Road.


We got to work with Rita Fagan and Brian Fleming on different cultures. We also got to work with Inchicore Women's group.


3 of our classmates, participated in the YSI Den where we got to present our project and ask for an amount of money. We asked for 1000 euro where we would use it for the mural, the electric box and our Zen Zone. We got it!!!!






We got the opportunity to be on Nationwide on RTÉ were we talked more about our project including the Zen Zone and the electric box. It was an amazing opportunity that we got to experience.





We have had many cleanups around our area to make it look better as well as cleaner.


We attended a safety meeting in Inchicore where people from the community attended as well as the Gardaí. The Gardaí listened to everyone's concern and opinions.

We also attended an environmental meeting where clean-ups are organised and lots more.


As there was only one gym in Inchicore, which at the start was not opened for the public, we used our youth voice and talked to DCC where they let us use the gym every Monday for an hour.
